A new study from Washington State University has found that increasing the amount of time spent asleep immediately after a traumatic experience may easy any negative consequences. The research builds a case for sleep therapeutics following trauma—especially for military personnel and first responders, as well as victims of accidents, natural disaster, violence and abuse.
