Dementia affects English and Italian speakers differently

A small study from a team at the University of California looked at dementia-related language problems in English-speaking and Italian-speaking patients. They found that while the English speakers had difficulty pronouncing words, the Italian speakers simply opted for shorter, simpler sentences.
