Socialization may slow cognitive decline

Researchers at Wake Forest conducted research on the impact of dance and socialization on brain function in older adults diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment. Although the study is ongoing, the team expects the results their seeing to continue, including the findings that the groups focused on socializing will have improved cognitive abilities compared to the control group.
