Aspirin Doesn’t Slow Cognitive Decline

Although past research has indicated that aspirin might benefit cardiovascular health, new research seems to indicate that aspirin doesn’t help prevent dementia or slow cognitive decline. The hope was that, since brain and heart health are connected, aspirin might help the brain. Unfortunately, the results of the most recent study, which were published in the journal Neurology, don’t point in that direction.
