Dementia risk may be raised by hormone therapy for prostate cancer

A study published in JAMA Oncology found that men with prostate cancer who had ADT (androgen deprivation therapy) were nearly twice as likely to be diagnosed with dementia in the five years after the ADT treatment, compared to men who didn’t receive it.
