Teachers’ interactions with students support learning and development

Researchers at the University of Virginia, Oregon State University and Clemson studied 1,400 preschoolers and 325 early childhood teachers and found that “responsive teaching” contributed to multiple aspects of the students’ development, including memory, language and literacy.
