NHL concussions not reduced by bodychecking rules

Despite new rules regulating contact to the head, there hasn’t been a decrease in the number of concussions in the National Hockey League. In a recent study, researchers found that 64 percent of the concussions were caused by body-checking, vs. only 28 percent from illegal incidents.
