Mid-life high blood pressure linked to increased brain damage later

A new study published in European Heart Journal found a strong association between diastolic blood pressure (the blood pressure between heart beats) before age 50 and brain damage in later life (elderly). This is true even if the diastolic blood pressure was within normal limits to be considered healthy.
