Our Philosophy
LearningRx is separated from other learning companies by two basic philosophies:
1. We believe children should not be limited by labels
2. We believe any child can excel when given the right training
We are not focused on symptoms or behavior, but rather we go to the root cause of learning struggles which, in most cases, is cognitive skill weakness. This philosophy has consistently allowed LearningRx to speak hope into situations where others have spoken hopelessness.
Some families come to us as a last resort, after having been disappointed by IEPs, tutors, medications or other programs. Others find us early, and avoid those problems. To date, over 25,000 students have experienced life-changing results. We average IQ gains of 14.51 points and achieve even larger gains on an individual skill basis.
We believe our philosophy is validated by the thousands of testimonials we receive from parents every year. Below we show you just one of them. Click here to read more testimonials or click here to watch video testimonials.
“Recently our 11-year-old daughter made the A honor roll at her middle school for the 3rd straight quarter. We were thrilled and amazed – our daughter’s life has literally been changed by LearningRx. Never in her school career had she had the opportunity of being proud of herself for doing well in school. For the first time in her life, our daughter was proud of her schoolwork! We knew she had potential, but it had been hidden for so long. When our daughter told her trainer about her accomplishment, her trainer said ‘I’m proud of you, I knew you could do it.’ What my wife and I learned from our daughter’s experience at LearningRx was that the trainers not only recognized the potential in their students, but they understood how to unlock that potential. When her trainer said, ‘I knew you could do it’ it was because she DID know she could do it, and more importantly, she knew how to help her get there.”
